{"id":586,"date":"2024-07-18T08:43:02","date_gmt":"2024-07-18T08:43:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/copip.eu\/?p=586"},"modified":"2024-07-18T08:45:35","modified_gmt":"2024-07-18T08:45:35","slug":"gambia-integrated-waste-management-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/copip.eu\/fr\/news\/gambia-integrated-waste-management-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Projet de gestion int\u00e9gr\u00e9e des d\u00e9chets en Gambie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Alors que l'\u00e9tude de pr\u00e9faisabilit\u00e9 du projet de gestion int\u00e9gr\u00e9e des d\u00e9chets en Gambie touche bient\u00f4t \u00e0 sa fin, une \u00e9quipe compos\u00e9e du programme Clean Oceans Project Identification and Preparation (COPIP), de la Banque europ\u00e9enne d'investissement (BEI) et de la D\u00e9l\u00e9gation de l'Union europ\u00e9enne en Gambie a effectu\u00e9 une mission fructueuse du 6 au 10 mai 2024. L'\u00e9quipe a effectu\u00e9 des visites de sites et a tenu des r\u00e9unions de haut niveau avec les parties prenantes concern\u00e9es du minist\u00e8re des Terres, du Gouvernement r\u00e9gional et des Affaires religieuses (MoLRG), du minist\u00e8re de l'Environnement, du Changement climatique et des Ressources naturelles (MECCNAR), de l'Agence nationale de l'environnement, du minist\u00e8re des Finances et des Affaires \u00e9conomiques (MoFEA), et de la Chambre de commerce et d'industrie de Gambie (GCCI), ainsi que le maire de Banjul, le maire de Kanifing et le pr\u00e9sident du Conseil municipal de Brikama. Le taux moyen de collecte des d\u00e9chets dans la r\u00e9gion du Grand Banjul n'est que de 28 % et le secteur du recyclage n'est pas correctement organis\u00e9 ou coordonn\u00e9. \u00c0 l'instar d'autres villes \u00e0 faibles revenus d'Afrique subsaharienne, la r\u00e9gion du Grand Banjul est confront\u00e9e au d\u00e9versement incontr\u00f4l\u00e9 de d\u00e9chets mixtes dans des d\u00e9charges \u00e0 ciel ouvert, \u00e0 savoir Mile II, Bakoteh et Tambana. Le projet am\u00e9liorera la collecte des d\u00e9chets, qui passera de 28 % \u00e0 80 %, produira de l'\u00e9nergie \u00e0 partir des d\u00e9chets, d\u00e9veloppera le march\u00e9 du recyclage et cr\u00e9era une d\u00e9charge sanitaire dans la r\u00e9gion du Grand Banjul. La solution COPIP devrait r\u00e9volutionner le secteur de la gestion des d\u00e9chets en Gambie et g\u00e9n\u00e9rer d'immenses avantages, notamment la cr\u00e9ation d'emplois, la pr\u00e9servation de l'environnement et la r\u00e9duction des rejets de d\u00e9chets\/plastiques dans l'oc\u00e9an. Selon le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.undp.org\/gambia\/news\/gambias-efforts-beat-plastic-pollution\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PNUD<\/a>, la pollution plastique menace la durabilit\u00e9 du secteur de la p\u00eache en Gambie, qui g\u00e9n\u00e8re pourtant pr\u00e8s de 12 % du PIB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Chez COPIP, nous pensons que \u00ab <a href=\"https:\/\/wedocs.unep.org\/bitstream\/handle\/20.500.11822\/44939\/global_waste_management_outlook_2024.pdf?sequence=3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Beyond an Age of Waste<\/a> \u00bb (d\u00e9passer l'\u00e8re des d\u00e9chets) est une \u00e9tape importante r\u00e9alisable. C'est pourquoi les consultants du programme COPIP ont identifi\u00e9 et pr\u00e9parent des projets innovants et bancables de gestion des d\u00e9chets solides municipaux couvrant l'ensemble de la cha\u00eene de valeur des d\u00e9chets solides municipaux.
