This project fiche evaluates the potential for progressing the project to Pre-Feasibility Stage. The scope of this project includes, among other things, the improvement of waste collection, the construction of a materials recovery facility, recycling facilities, an anaerobic digestion facility for bio-waste and other elements in the western coastal region of Abidjan, as well as support for the strengthening of the collection and recovery of plastic waste. The project also aims to promote the involvement of the private sector and the creation of inter-municipal companies.
