Theatre is a powerful tool for sparking conversations and driving change. 🌊 This International Coastal Cleanup Day, under the theme Sea the Change, Jukwaa Arts Productions with the support of WWF-Kenya is raising awareness of the importance of waste segregation at source. Through impactful performances, coastal communities in Kenya are learning how better waste management can protect our oceans and promote sustainability. Together, we can ‘sea’ the change we need for a cleaner, healthier coast through the Clean Oceans Project Identification and Preparation (COPIP) initiative, we successfully piloted a waste segregation project in Likoni, benefiting 800 households.

This project carried out in partnership with the County Government of Mombasa and PAKPRO Kenya, was made possible through funding from the European Investment Bank (EIB).
