At the recent SWIFT programme launch by the Kenya Climate Innovation Center, representatives from Mombasa County, Kenya, drew on findings from the pre-feasability study conducted by EIB and COPIP in the area as part of the Mombasa Solid Waste Circular Economy Project [02.27].
The SWIFT programme aims to revolutionise the waste management sector and support small and medium-sized enterprises within the sector to create jobs and employment opportunities for the youth and women in the country.
